Frequently asked questions
Often yes-Lebanon hotels may require a deposit or credit card guarantee for contracted room blocks, while courtesy blocks usually don’t. Terms vary by property and by demand, especially on Nashville event weekends. Confirm the cutoff date and any attrition tied to that deposit. Many Lebanon properties along I-40 see strong weekend pickup, so earlier holds can help. Hotels generally need at least nine rooms for a block, and may offer concessions like welcome bag delivery or extended check-out.
It depends on your block type: with a contracted block, you may owe attrition for unused rooms; with a courtesy block, unbooked rooms are released at the cutoff and no fees apply. Set a conservative pickup target in Lebanon-many groups reserve 10-20% fewer rooms than their guest count, then add if needed. Watch pace and adjust before the deadline, since hotels along I-40 and 35 minutes from BNA can sell through on Nashville-heavy weekends.
A guaranteed block in Lebanon means you sign a contract and accept deadlines and possible attrition; a non-guaranteed block is a courtesy hold with rooms released at cutoff and little or no financial risk. Because Lebanon sits about 30 miles east of Nashville and 35 minutes from BNA, big regional events can tighten availability. Hotels generally require at least nine rooms for any block, and may discuss concessions like suite upgrades or free parking when you contract.
Guaranteed blocks are contracted with rates, deadlines, and possible attrition charges; non-guaranteed (courtesy) blocks hold rooms until a cutoff without a deposit, then release what’s unused. Expect a minimum of nine rooms either way. Courtesy blocks are flexible but smaller and can disappear on high-demand dates; contracted blocks lock in inventory and may unlock perks like welcome drinks or extended check-out. Many couples reserve 10-20% fewer rooms than their guest list.
